Student Travel Subsidy
The Division of Biochemical Technology (BIOT) provides travel subsidies of $500 to several students each year to attend the ACS National Meeting and make an oral or poster presentation. The subsidy is intended to encourage ACS student members with limited financial resources to participate in ACS National Meetings. A committee of industrial scientists will select the recipients of the subsidy. Note that this Subsidy is not intended as an "award" or "fellowship". The list of subsidy recipients will be confidential to the subsidy selection committee and the BIOT Executive Committee.
Students wishing to apply for the subsidy should forward a completed application form to their advisor. The application form can be downloaded from the link below.
Please request the advisor to email the completed form to CSTpeterson@merck.com. Note that the application for the Travel Subsidy and the application for the W. H. Peterson Award are not the same.
Applications should be received by Friday, March 20, 2013.
